Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to purchases and engagements booked directly through kodenzo.com with KODENZO LLP (“Kodenzo,” “we,” “us”). Engagements sourced through a third-party platform such as Upwork follow that platform’s own cancellation and contract terms instead of this policy.

Digital Product Subscriptions (Kodenzo Commerce Health Pro)

You may cancel your license subscription at any time from your account or by emailing [email protected]. Cancelling stops all future renewal billing. Your license remains active and usable through the end of the period you have already paid for — we do not prorate or refund the remaining days of an active term when you cancel (see our Refund Policy for the limited exceptions where a refund does apply).

Project-Based Engineering Engagements

For scoped projects (audits, custom development, migrations, and similar one-time engagements):

• Cancelling before work begins: full refund of any advance paid, less non-recoverable payment processing fees.
• Cancelling after work has begun: billing is based on work completed to date against the agreed milestones or logged hours; any unused advance for phases not yet started is returned to you.
• To cancel, email [email protected] referencing your project or invoice number. We confirm cancellations in writing within 2 business days.

Retainers and Ongoing Maintenance Contracts

For monthly retainer or ongoing maintenance/support contracts, we require 15 days’ written notice to cancel, sent to [email protected]. Billing continues as normal through the end of the notice period, during which we continue to provide the agreed services. No further renewal invoices are raised once the notice period ends.

Cancellations Initiated by Kodenzo

We reserve the right to cancel or pause an engagement if a client is unresponsive for an extended period, payment is not received as agreed, or the scope of work becomes materially different from what was originally agreed. In such cases, we will refund any amount paid for work not yet delivered, in line with our Refund Policy.
